Context:

I conducted a literature review on the best teaching practices to enhance student vocabulary in EDLIT745 Literacy Research for Change.  I read a wide range of research on the topic to ground my understanding and used these current studies and research to write a literature review.  The title of the course says it all...Literacy Research for Change.

Reflection:

Although conducting a literature review was an extensive task, my ability to read a wide range of research and identify effective, valid, and reliable research methodologies is a valuable skill I can take with me when professionally sharing current studies with colleagues.  Not only has the overall assignment been valuable, but I have gained alot of knowledge and insight on enhancing student vocabulary through shared storybook reading.
