Welcome

My name is Amrit Kaur Aneja. I am currently a 4th grade teacher at P.S. 48 – Michael J. Buczek School located in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. I am certified to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (PreK – 12) under the Transitional B certificate. I have a  Master’s degree in International Education from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. I have a Bachelors in Science from Penn State University in Accounting and a minor in Spanish. My research interests include access to education for marginal populations and low socio-economic communities.
