This is a picture of where I'm from, Naples, Italy. Isn't it beautiful? I moved to NY with my family when I was eight years old, and we've lived in Brooklyn ever since. It was actually having to learn English when I came here that inspired me to choose teaching as a profession. In order to learn the language, I read avidly, and quickly became a lover of English literature. My interest in reading, consequently sparked a desire in me to share my passion for literature with others, which naturally led to my wanting to become an English teacher.
