     The students of this class are accustomed to learning about animals for a given season. Moreover, selected themes of this classroom are reinforced in any way possible to keep students invested and devoted to learning as much as they can for the unit. With that said, children are familiar with how a unit is kept alive in this classroom. For instance they’ve experienced the readjustment learning centers to fit and complete themed activities, they know theme concepts are included in their daily worksheets, and most importantly, they are encouraged to link chosen theme ideas to prior knowledge or experiences in their own surroundings. Teachers have also informed parents about the butterfly unit and requested a family trip to the library for children to have facts they can share during the open discussion.

     For my chosen students, I made it a priority to seek guidance from teachers and align my approved goals and objectives to their general goals for this unit.
