Ongoing practice performance improvement follows the Joint Commission's leadership in expecting healthcare providers to ongoing performance evaluation and practice-based learning and improvement.  One important measure is to assure all prescribing is informed by FDA's REMS (Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategies).
