- I am a psych-mental health NP & CNS (PMHNP-BC, PMHCNS-BC) as well as gerontological NP (GNP-BC) active clinician, teacher, researcher and writer/editor seeking to contribute to the nursing and advance practice literature related to these specializations. My research interest at this time is in helping older adults with opioid use disorders stay safe and healthy, which includes telehealth and medication assisted treatment. Currently he is conducting a retrospective study with Dr. William Ellery Samuels and research staff at Hudson River Healthcare, of persons age 55 and older with opioid use disorders and other chronic conditions, both general and mental health. In his role as contributing editor for Nursing Science Quarterly, he does research and edits international papers on what affects nursing and health around the world, I have recently published with authors from Iran, Italy, and Isreal.
